[:nl]MicroGate heeft het Witty systeem helemaal opnieuw gebouwd, weliswaar met de kennis die ze hebben opgebouwd met het PoliFemo systeem (dat in wedstrijden gebruikt wordt voor tijdwaarneming), maar met de gedachte dat ze een systeem wilde maken dat perfect geschikt is voor trainingen.
De Witty familie is daardoor niet alleen krachtig, maar vooral ook ongelofelijk eenvoudig op te bouwen en te bedienen. Het gehele systeem is draadloos, eenvoudig op te laden via USB en wordt bediend door een console dat eenvoudig te gebruiken, draagbaar en waterdicht is: de Witty console!
Witty console
Het hart van het systeem wordt gebruikt om metingen te doen, maar kan ook gebruikt worden voor het aanmaken van atleten of het maken van eigen tests. Die dingen zijn echter gemakkelijker te doen op de (gratis) meegeleverde Witty Manager software.
In de software kun je vooraf sporters aanmaken, groepen maken, tests bouwen, series van test definiëren en tenslotte alles uploaden naar de Witty console.
Witty Gate
De Witty Gate is de fotocel van het systeem. Het werkt met een actief kastje en een eenvoudige reflector. Mede hierdoor is het eenvoudig op te bouwen (alles is draadloos). De afstand tussen fotocel en reflector mag maximaal 12 m. bedragen. De afstand van een fotocel tot het console mag maximaal ongeveer 150 m. bedragen. Opgeladen werkt het systeem ongeveer 10 uur onafgebroken.
WittyTab
Voor directe terugkoppeling naar sporters (en evt. publiek) kun je een WittyTab opnemen in je testopstelling. Deze autonome klok is zowel handzaam en licht (2,9 kg), maar is ook op afstand goed afleesbaar en kan zelfs zelfstandig met de Witty Gates gebruikt worden (dus zonder de Witty console). Ook de WittyTab kan ongeveer 10 uur op een volle accu draaien.
WittySEM
De WittySEM is een LED display dat aangestuurd wordt door de Witty Console. In de WittySEM zit een proximity scanner, dus het systeem registreert als je (bijv) je hand vlak voor de WittySEM houdt. Het is gemaakt om reactie snelheid te testen van sporters. Dit kan gedaan worden door eenvoudige reactie “spelletjes”: tik het oplichtende vlakje aan, of iets ingewikkelder: tik de rode 4 aan.
De WittySEM kan echter ook gebruikt worden om aanwijzingen te geven aan sporters, denk hiervoor bijvoorbeeld aan de standaard T test, een van de standaard testen voor veldspelers.
WittyRFID
Tenslotte hebben we ook nog de WittyRFID. Deze toevoeging aan de familie is bedoeld om snel grote groepen sporters te kunnen testen of sporters zonder begeleiding de tests af te laten leggen.
Sporters dragen een van te voren geprogrammeerde band en scannen voor aanvang van een oefening hun tag. Hierdoor weet de Witty console welke sporter op dat moment begint aan zijn opdracht. Eenvoudig, snel en efficient!
[:en]MicroGate started from scratch when they designed the Witty system. They did use their knowledge from the PoliFemo system (a system specifically designed for competitions), but wanted something that fit the training market perfectly.
Because of that design idea the Witty family is not only powerful, but is also very easy to setup and use. The entire system is wireless, easy to charge via USB and is operated by a console that is easy to use, carry and is waterproof: the Witty console.
Witty console
The heart of the system is used to conduct tests, but can also be used to create athletes of design your own tests. But those things are easier done through the included Witty Manager software.
In that software you create athletes, define groups, design tests, create series of tests and upload the whole set straight into the Witty console.
Witty Gate
The Witty gate is the photocell for this system. The configuration is built with an active component and a simple reflector. Because of this setting it up is so easy (and also because everything is wireless). The distance between the photocell and the reflector may 12 m. max. The distance from the photocell to the console can by 150 m. maximum. Fully charged the system should work for about 10 hours.
WittyTab
For direct feedback to athletes (and spectators) you can add a WittyTab to your setup. This autonomous clockis both easy to carry and light (2,9 kg), but is still easy to read from a great distance. You can even use the WittyTab with only Witty Gates (no console)! Like the Witty gates the WittyTab can operate approx. 10 hours on a full charge.
WittySEM
The WittySEM is a LED display configured by the Witty console. The WittySEM also holds a proximity scanner, so the system registers when you approach the WittySEM. The system was designed to measure response time of athletes. This is easy (and fun!), you can setup the system so you should look for the sign that goes on, or make it a little harder and search for the red 4.
The WittySEM can also be used to provide athletes with information that they should use to base their next action on. A good example is the standard T test, one of the standard tests for a lot of sports.
WittyRFID
And last but not least we have the WittyRFID. This system is meant to make is easy to time big groups of athletes or to let athletes start the test without supervision.
Athletes wear a programmed tag on a writ band and scan their tag before starting their exercise. Because of the tag we now know which athlete stands at the start line.
